Saint Benedict's Church in Warsaw, Wawer Sadul

image

The project of the church dedicated to St. Benedict, the Patron Saint of Europe, along with the parish buildings, was inspired by Romanesque architecture.

The rectangular, brick structure of the church with a central layout, featuring a distinctive pediment covered with light stone, is crowned with an octagonal, glazed tambour. Adjacent to the church is the parish house, housing the parish office, retreat rooms, meeting rooms for local communities, and priests' residences. The latticed brick bell tower enclosing the square in front of the church serves as a local spatial landmark.
