Hotel Bristol in Zakopane
Before World War II, Bristol Hotel was a place of numerous meetings and activities, including dancing in the open air, morning gymnastics, and sports competitions. The pre-war social activist and charismatic first director of the facility Marian Jamontt attracted artists and personalities to the hotel. A luxury hotel also attracted guests from the upper classes.
The Investor’s plans assume restoring the former importance on the Zakopane map of the object. The object is designed with high respect for its historical value while at the same time meeting the guidelines allowing for the introduction of a modern hotel function. The most valuable elements of the building are the front facade and the building details in art déco style. The character of the ballroom is also important – decorative elements will become an inspiration for newly created hotel interiors.
