Conversion of an industrial building into a student hotel on Revolucja 1905 Street in Łódź
A post-industrial facility from the 1960s in the centre of Łódź, converted into a Student Hotel. A frontage building with an open plan ground floor. The modernist character of the building has been emphasized by maintaining its massive load-bearing structure and prefabricated façade elements.
The Student Hostel offers nearly 500 single and double rooms, shared study spaces and service premises on the ground floor and basement. Interiors in industrial, simple style fit the nature of the facility.
The whole complex is complemented by an internal courtyard built on the garage slab, closed with characteristic Łódź buildings
