The building is located in the centre of Garden-City Podkowa Leśna within a neighbourhood of single-family houses in large gardens.

The design of the school in the form of two-storey volumes linked together at the back of the site and divided at the front by squares and green courtyards blends in harmoniously into the residential neighbourhood with its intimate scale.

The location of the building on the site, its layout and shape are both the result of an analysis of the terrain and an attempt to provide ample sunlight to the classrooms and site.

An inner square in front of the main entrance to the building was designed at the corner of Modrzewiowa Street and Kościelna Street. The square is a limited access area for parents and children attending school, waiting or departing for trips and summer schools.
