This competition design by a consortium of Ala Architects of Helsinki and Grupa 5 won a special honourable mention in the competition for the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw. Our intention was the creation of an iconic architecture, which would be able to undermine the status of the Palace of Culture, a reminder of the communist era and to create a new point of reference in the public space.
