„.... Daniel Liebeskind.- My favourite was the design submitted by the finnish-polish team from Grupa 5/ALA. Beautiful, small, incredibly sculptural”, and:
„The design was the favourite of many jury members, but we could not give it the main prize. That would have required a change in the master plan of the square. This could have lasted 5 years – explains the Secretary of the Competition Jury Jacek Lenart- the only thing we could do was give it an honourable mention.”

In first place a special mention the Office of ALA Architects [with the office of Grupa 5 of Warsaw] These are young Office who cooperated with artist Jarosław Kozakiewicz, the author of the Polish Pavillion at the most recent Architecture Biennale in Venezia. Among the mentioned were also Ingarden i Ewy with Kengo Kuma , the famous Norwegian office Snohetta and Jun Aoki from Japan.”
